The command of the Bible
. . . is to go into the entire world and make disciples of all nations. How are people going to go from the point of conversion to a mature ministering believer? The best model to follow and pattern ourselves after is Christ.
We have chosen to follow the model of Discipling 12 that Jesus introduced.
Jesus did more than just teach the Word. He also prayed with His disciples and walked them through difficulties. This is what takes place in our D12 groups. Prayer is a key ingredient at every meeting. As we study and pray together, relationship is established. There is a bonding and a commitment that takes place allowing healing and restoration to flow like the Lord desires.
Everyone can be a leader.
A leader is someone who gives their gifts away. We encourage everyone in a D12 group to eventually start a group and begin to give away what they have been taught.
There are three other parts of the vision that you will want to check out on our website.
First, the lessons that are used in the D12 groups are on the website under D12 Lessons. Check one out so you can get an idea of what is discussed.
Second, is our encounters. This is a place to spend time with God and to allow the Holy Spirit to take out of our lives the impurities that would eventually harm us and others.
Third is our D12 Leadership School. It's a practical forum to ask questions and get encouraged before stepping out and starting your own D12 group.
