We take Matthew 28:18-20 very serious and are working to fulfill our part of that scripture. Also Acts 1:8 gives us specific direction on how this global discipleship is going to take place. We as a congregation tithe the finances that are given in the church. This money is invested in local ministries and most goes to foreign ministries.

We believe that we are to touch or city, county, state, nation and then the world. We are committed to see that take place. We are very missional minded and invest money to people and organizations who are ministering in our city and county. We pick ministries that we know and are doing ministry that we are not doing. Much of the city and county ministry we invest in is done by members of the congregation. We evangelize through City Kidz and Neighborhood Action. We also feed the hungry through our Food Pantry and Park Feeding. We are committed to be a light on a hill in our community. We do not want our county to be able to live with out us.

Our foreign missions are three fold. The biggest giving is to families that are from South Coast Fellowship and are doing what we do here in foreign countries. We want to take care of our own families as they reach out to disciple the world. We also give to area ministries that are in countries that we feel the Lord has given us to help disciple. Countries like China, India, Jordan, Uganda, and the Ukraine are countries that we know the Lord have given us responsibility care for the people there. We also send out short tem mission trips so that the people of South Coast can experience the cross cultural experience that mission allows and also allow the Lord to ignite their hearts for the nations.

We are confident we can minister at home and on foreign soil and make a difference. Our God wants everyone to know Him but how can they know without a preacher. We are the preachers and we will go and touch with the Love of God. As you continue to read you will see the people who are out doing the work of the ministry in our mission service stream.
