South Coast Fellowship’s Internship Program is geared for high school graduates that would like to take a year to learn how to hear from God, develop daily discipline and discover their calling, purpose and destiny before deciding to continue to college or career.

Internship Program Requirements

Program is offered to high school graduates ages 17-25. Students are required to serve Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm, Wednesday evenings and attend and serve at one of the weekend services. You will be required to attend one School of Training class each session on Sunday evening.

Schedule at a Glance

Morning Devotions
Each morning as they arrive, students will begin their day with a quiet time to pray and study the Bible.

 

Attend Classes
Students are required to attend a morning class. During the year they will be exposed to several types of Bible-based curriculum.

Weekend Schedule
You will be required to attend one of the 3 weekend services and help one weekend a month.

Student Ministry
Wednesday 7 – 9pm
You’ll have the opportunity to serve at Wednesday night student ministry services.

Night of Prayer

Is on the first Monday of each month and is required attendance. 

Outreach Programs
Before breaking for lunch you will have an hour of quiet time to study. After lunch there is a time for practicum where you’ll help with various outreaches SCF offers like the CityKidz programs, join the audio/visual team, help in the Open Hands, Vacation Bible School, Harvest Festival, and more.

Mission Outreaches

We have several short-term Mission outreaches that include New York Metro Kids, Los Angeles Dream Center and optional trips to Mexico, Spain, Uganda, Honduras, Navajo Reservation in Arizona, and South America. Raising funds for the trips are students responsibility. They will have several fundraiser opportunities throughout the year.

Accommodations

Local students must provide their own accommodations. Accommodations can be provided with a mentor/sponsor family if needed for students outside the US.
